Loretta Staudt, MD, FAAFP; Director; Staudt@cua.edu

Dr. Staudt is originally from NY and moved to Washington, DC, to attend Georgetown University. She continued her education at Georgetown University School of Medicine and did a residency in Family Medicine.  She has worked in multiple settings including emergency room, rural medicine, and urgent care.  She found that working with the college aged population is both challenging and very rewarding! She enjoys acute care but also likes to help individuals adapt to healthy lifestyles.  Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, spinning workouts and swimming. Dr. Staudt is married, has three children and two young grandsons.

Emma Toussaint, FNP-C; Nurse Practitioner; toussainte@cua.edu

Emma joined the Catholic U Student Health Service team in 2017! She has been a nurse since 2003, with experience in Emergency/Trauma, ICU, Med Surg and nursing education. She strives to ensure excellent patient outcomes and optimal health, with every patient, every time. As a graduate of Rutgers University with both a BSN and MSN, she is a proud Jersey girl! She has been an NP since 2013 and enjoys her daily interactions with students.  She is married and has two daughters. She loves to read, travel and when possible, participate in mission trips to her homeland of Ghana, West Africa. She enjoys working with and learning from the great staff and bright students at Catholic University.

Lisa Clemente, PA-C; Physician Assistant ; clementel@cua.edu

Lisa joined the Student Health Services team in September 2021. She graduated from Marquette University's Physician Assistant program in 2012 after finishing her undergraduate degree at Notre Dame. Prior to joining the Catholic U community, Lisa worked most recently in burn surgery. She also has several years of experience in emergency medicine as a PA. Lisa is happy to transition to caring for college students, addressing urgent needs as well as providing guidance for healthy living and health maintenance. She enjoys working with the SHS staff and experiencing the Catholic U community. Outside of work, she spends her time painting and outdoors with her husband and young sons.

Raichel Thornhill, PA-C; Physician Assistant; thornhill@cua.edu

Raichel joined the Student Health Services team in January 2023. She graduated from Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant program in 2012 after completing her undergraduate degree at Penn State University. She has worked in emergency medicine since becoming a PA and continues to do so part-time. She is excited to transition to student health and work with the college aged population. Outside of work, she enjoys Peloton workouts, hikes with her family, and baking. She is married and a mother to twins.  

Rose Mbu, RN; Nurse; mbur@cua.edu

Rose has been a nurse for almost twenty years. She went to school and received her nursing degree in Germany and lived there for eight years. She is also a licensed massage therapist. After gaining much experience from a broad variety of nursing settings, she has come to college health and enjoys working with the student population. Rose loves to cook and travel in her spare time.

Nichole Temoney, CMA; Medical Assistant; temoney@cua.edu

Nichole joined the Catholic University Student Health Services team in 2020 as a Medical Assistant in the Covid testing center.  She started full-time at the Student Health Services office in 2021.  Her previous experience includes working in Family and Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, and other practice settings. She has been a Medical Assistant since 2010. Nichole has a daughter and a puppy!  In her free time, she enjoys cooking.

Riyad Mohammed; Office Administrator; mohammedr@cua.edu

Riyad has a degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in Washington DC.  She was the Administrative Assistant at the Covid testing center on campus in 2020 and joined the Student Health Services team as Office Administrator in 2021.  Her goal is to have the office run efficiently for the students.  Riyad is an enthusiastic addition to the team and looks forward to helping the Catholic U students in any way she can.  Riyad is family oriented and enjoys traveling.
