Loretta Staudt, MD, FAAFP Director
Dr. Staudt is originally from NY and moved to Washington, DC, to attend Georgetown University. She continued her education at Georgetown University School of Medicine and did a residency in Family Medicine. She is board certified. Dr. Staudt enjoys working with the college age population. She enjoys acute care but also likes to help individuals adapt healthy lifestyles. Outside of work, she enjoys spinning workouts and swimming. Dr. Staudt is married and has three children and two young grandsons.
Cathy Hampton, ANP-C Nurse Practitioner
Cathy Hampton graduated from George Washington University with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She has recently worked as a Hospitalist in Internal Medicine at Providence Hospital. Prior to moving to Washington, DC, Cathy lived in England for fifteen years and worked with the National Health System (NHS). She is very happy to be part of the Catholic U family!
Emma Toussaint, FNP-C Nurse Practitioner
Emma joined our team in 2017 and we are thrilled to have her! She has been a nurse since 2003, with experience in Emergency/Trauma, ICU, Med Surg and nursing education. She strives to ensure excellent patient outcomes and optimal health, with every patient, every time. As a graduate of Rutgers University with both a BSN and MSN, she is a proud Jersey girl! She has been an NP since 2013 and most recently worked in orthopedics. She is married and has two young daughters that keep her very busy. She loves to read, travel and participate in mission trips to her homeland of Ghana, West Africa. She enjoys working with and learning from the great staff and bright students at CUA.
Lisa Clemente, PA-C
Lisa joined the Student Health Services team in September 2021. She graduated from Marquette University's Physician Assistant program in 2012 after finishing her undergraduate degree at Notre Dame. Prior to joining the Catholic U community, Lisa worked most recently in burn surgery. She also has several years of experience in emergency medicine as a PA. Lisa is happy to transition to caring for college students, addressing urgent needs as well as providing guidance for healthy living and health maintenance. She enjoys working with the SHS staff and experiencing the Catholic U community. Outside of work, she spends her time painting and outdoors with her husband and young son.
Rose Mbu, RN Nurse
Rose has been a nurse for almost twenty years. She went to school and received her nursing degree in Germany and lived there for eight years. She is also a licensed massage therapist. After gaining much experience from a broad variety of nursing settings, she has come to college health and enjoys working with the student population. Rose loves to cook and travel in her spare time.
